is there anything i can do to help my boyfriend who has aspergers. How can i support him? Ive tried reading books but this isnt helping me

we are currently on a break (hopefully we are going to be able to sort things out between ourselves), and i really feel that i didnt support him enough... How can i get the point to him, that im sorry our relationship ended and that i still love him dearly.. also when we get back together how can i support him
