When I have been listening to quiet music or videos through headphones for a while, I notice there is a strong ringing in my ears. I heard that Aspies are somehow more sensitive to electromagnetic radiation. It happens to me when I've been exposed to my computer for several hours.
I don't believe I have the tinnitus due to hearing loss: I'm 18 and can still hear just past 17 kHz.
Do you hear your computer buzzings? Ours do it constantly. Do you live in an older area or house? These have been known to give off amounts of EMF waves.. Also sometimes paranormal can cause it if you believe in that.
However it may be just leftover noise after you're done listening through headphones.
If you hear it a lot without headphones, it might just be the area you live. Or sometimes if you have eardrum damage you can get ringing sensation or tinnitus
