Do aspies fight and argue? My AS friend always told me:I'm a very easy person, I can't fight! Is this true?

I'm generally very laid back and understanding - I'd rather just analyse something than get riled up about it in most cases - but with some things I can get very angry. And I sometimes lose my temper with people if they're being very frustrating and argumentative, if they catch me on a bad day. So yeah, aspies can be angry and argue. You're probably just blessed with a rational outlook and a relaxed nature. :)

I can get angry, but I am usually very, very laid-back and flexible.

I USED to be a lot less angry. I guess I have just lost all patience at this point. So YEAH, aspies can get angry, etc... In my case, I guess it just wasn't the normal case.

As I can only speak for myself, I'd have to guess that aspies would be no different than anyone else in terms of anger, that it varies from person to person.

Me? Yeah, I can get angry. Depending on the cause, I can get really angry. Sometimes its simply frustration causing me to not think as clearly, others its bad enough for me to lock my door and try and insulate myself from the world until I can get over it. Thankfully the latter isn't exactly a frequent thing.

Do aspies feel anger?

Judging by some of the people around here, I'd have to say that's a definite affirmative.

I do my best to control my anger... I'm not really a moody person, but I can be really angry at times and I just suppress it. I go all tense and I just can't think when something pisses me off, I've never yelled at or hurt anyone but I know someone someday will push me over the edge... It's just a matter of time. But to answer your question, yes, I sure as hell get angry. I sometimes feel like the song "Bullet With Butterfly Wings" by Smashing Pumpkins was written about me...

"Despite all my rage, I am still just a rat in a cage!"

I'm generally very laid back and easy going.
However if someone intends to make me angry, it's possible :)
(and if there is a lack of respect, lies etc I feel angry inside)

On the whole, like Louise said :
I'd rather just analyse something than get riled up about it in most cases

I'm pretty laid-back but i'm also very quick-tempered and things CAN set me off.

Most certainly we get angry. Anger is one of my stronger emotions. I sometimes have difficulty suppressing my anger although, I have gotten used to it though. I prefer to look at the world rationally than emotionally to be honest.

I can be patient and hide my anger, until I snap. It doesn't happen that often, but when I do...

I can get extremely angry/upset. The problem is, that when I do, I cannot verbalize it. I go practically mute.

I seem to get pissed off easily, and have a problem with it.

I assume I've developed my anger problem after years of a crappy life being tortured by other students as a young kid.
