How often do you use lights in your home?

Me, unless I'm eating, they are normally 'off' and I'm normally in the dark

I prefer dimmer lighting (lamps if I really need to see, or night lights if that's sufficient) - I only turn on the "big" light if I really have to.

I chose 'all the time' as I have them on most of the time. The only times I don't is when I'm at my boyfriend's as he doesn't like lights on or if I'm in my room on the computer.

Usually all the time, unless I'm surfing the net in bed on my phone. I've got those full-spectrum natural-light bulbs which give the place a nice white glow. If it wasn't for that, I'd be in dark probably.

I don't mind light unless I want to take a nap or go to sleep. I actually get creeped out when I have to eat in the dark. I usually leave my computer on through the night because I also use it as a nightlight.

I like things to be dim.

Only when I have to see something, otherwise I leave the lights off.

At work I use the computer monitor as my light due to fluorescent lights. At home, it depends, but I usually have them on using the natural light bulbs.

All the time! Except when I'm sleeping. Dim light drives me nuts. But so do fluorescent lights; I can't use them.

Bright light hurts my eyes. At home I tend to have one 40W lamp on, and outside I tend to wear sunglasses so often people must think I think I'm famous or something.

None of these options really apply to me. When I bought my house, the first thing I had my husband do (even before we painted the walls or moved in) was replace all the switches with dimmer switches. So the lights are technically ON all the time, but they're turned down so low that everyone thinks I "live in a cave."

I'm epileptic and flourescent and other weird lights can be a seizure trigger for me. I also can't stand bright lights. Sometimes bright light can even trigger a migraine for me. I like it as dim as possible.

Depends on who is in the house. I use bright light whenever possible as does my son. My husband hates extra lights on and always wears sunglasses outside. So, sometimes in the house there will be rooms or corners that are dark. The kitchen light is on 24/7
