Hi everyone. As some of you know, I'm writing a book on autism and human rights in the U.S. I'm now working on Chapter 5, which deals with health care. I have access to a really good research library, and I still haven't been able to find any kind of breakdown on how many autistic folk are uninsured, using Medicaid, private insurance, etc. I would be very grateful if you could fill in this poll. Any references also happily accepted.

You missed a very important type of insurance: Employer-sponsored health insurance.

Sorry. I meant private insurance to include employer-sponsored insurance--"private" here means "non-government".

medicare with private supplement. why are we only allowed to choose one????
