Does anybody get this feeling, ever? I do. I miss my days of grade school, because it was a time where I was a carefree person, unlike now, where I seem to worry about everything at every single turn.

I miss the days when local TV here in America would show some good kids programming (it's all gone to cable, online and DVD now), and all the good times I enjoyed with my friends in those days....... anyone else?

Yes, and if you combine it with the wearing of the types of clothes you did in those times and, well, a certain type of undergarment that provides comfort and convenience it can make for a more rewarding experience IMO. It is a rather common 'escape route' among our type I'm finding.

But as a direct reply, I'd say my 6th grade was the year I had it all together - my hyperlexia and spelling skills paid off and made me the school hero after years of being the 'fish out of water'

Nostalgia has bothered me more and more in the last decade. My aspie dad used to be very nostalgic too. It may be a result of depression rather than autism, though. I don't know.

I definitely do. Mostly the good times I had with my parents and siblings.

I miss the days when the sky would be a very dark deep blue, nowadays, even on sunny days there is allways a cloudy grey haze from the Chemtrailing.

I like feeling nostalgia i imagine if i live to be an even older person, i'll enjoy lots of days of nostalgia.
While enjoying nostalgia, it is always good to make more nostalgia for later on ;)

I feel a bit of nostalgia about my early grade school days, but the good memories aren't about school or the way I felt as an individual. The good memories are about the music that was played on the radio. Classic rock in every form possible and lots of Kinks. If The Kinks are the only thing that I'm nostalgic about and the rest of my past seems dark, I'm better off living in the present and listening to The Kinks than I am looking back at all aspects of my childhood. I don't need the many dark parts of my past to bog me down. I can be a 60s Mod, listen to The Kinks and live in the present all at the same time.
