My question is -- if you have adjusted your thinking so that your self-esteem is higher, what influenced you to do so?
Bill Gate's wrote in one of his books (that i did not read) how he thought it was a bad idea to teach kids to have higher self-esteem. Which I guess is possible you could boost alot of peoples self-esteem in an artfical way. People naturally increase their self-esteem by doing things right. Which is what Gate's said that kids should really do things that boost their self-esteem.
In my case I tend to be an inventor. And 99.9% of the time things fail and I do not keep trying. Those few times things have work I have had a smile from ear to ear
for hours. In my case what would boost my self-esteem is if I focused on any of my past projects (many are in front of my nose as i type) and got them to marketable condition I would be at the high self esteem level over night. I think inattentive ADHD is the physical mechanism preventing me from focus. Its very good at comming up with ideas but very bad at getting the sweat work done.
