Okay i had my NT gf take the Aspie quiz and she scored a whopper of 42 out of 200.
She does have sensory issues a tad, she doesn't really show emotion (which is tough for me)
yet since we've been together 5 years can my Autisitic traits pass to her? Such as lack of socialization and more isolation?
She doesn't care to make friends or talk to people aside from me.

She has assimilated since a young age well.
She can be social whether or not she truly wants to and can smalltalk if she has to.

No brain injuries she has had.

She has assimilated since a young age to blend in so that you don't feel different.
In contrast i am how i am i don't change or attempt to blend its futile i hate when people judge others, if they judge me then they aren't worth it.
However my gf may not be so NT she gets nervous if someone where to bring attention to her (which is why she got mad at me for running out the dr's office slamming a door since i had a mini meltdown) as it brought her negative attention so thus, her assimilation is very important to her she learned at a young age and mastered it.

I realize that to other people i appear different, i cannot hide it. I think it stems from a young age in elementary school when others knew i was different, i realized i was different (wasn't sure how yet knew) and i accepted it.

Did i read the quiz wrong? For her graph she leans into the NT half with the graph yet i would like a confirmation i'm confused how she scored

I think a more likely reason is that the Aspie Quiz is not diagnostic. I think it is less likely that she acquired Aspie traits from spending time with you and more likely that the Aspie Quiz defines "autistic traits" much too broadly.

Many people with sensory issues don't have AS. I have 2 sensory which were either caused by another medical condition or a medical procedure, therefore, nothing to do with my ASD.

That seems pretty NT to me. Most NT's have at least some autistic traits.

42 out of 200 doesn't sound like a lot. I got 68 for NT on that quiz and I'm certainly no NT.

It's simply not a reliable test.

42 out of 200 is quite on the nt side.

Fourty two is microscopic.

The opposite of a "whopper".

Its exactly the score that you would expect an NT to get.

What were you expecting an NT to get? 5?
42 is low, very low... I got over 180 :?

Thank you for the replies, at first i didn't realize her high scoring on the NT and looking at the chart i see she is majorly over the NT side almost in the shape of New Jersey on that graph.

I feel kinda dumb not picking up her NT score right away :duh:
