From your own personal perspective your life is simply:

- The current day seen from your own personal view.
- Your future days seen from your own personal view.
- All persons and things in the world that are or are going to relate to you in those days.

All your thoughts change nothing unless they make you more happy or have some relevance to your current and/or future days.

I'd say that's the view on your life that corresponds to reality. Acting/thinking according to any other thing would be to not act/think according to reality.

There was no option for me.

My "yes" would have been to the following:

"Do you live in reality, much to your frustration and dismay, due to life forcing you to because of your circumstances, but if you could, would escape into a world of your own, and when you see films that portray an idealised life, you wish life was like that and you come back to earth with a bump when the film is over. And when you were a child, you loved reading books because they would be about fantasy lands which you could imagine vividly, and were far nicer than real life"

I follow you completely! Let's hope we meet there in the after-life...

In the poll I'm more looking for what you manage to do even to your dismay.

Dude. You come up with some seriously cryptic topics. I've noticed that it is usually difficult to figure out what you are trying to say.

As far as I can tell, everything he posts is another way to try to prove his ridiculous theory that NTs are always selfish and AS people are suicidally altruistic.

Oh, I really don't believe that.

This is only to see how well people manage to live in reality, which can be a problem when you are autistic.

I've concluded this really is the actual problem (I gladly admit I had it wrong earlier on! But I never believed what you stated).

I realise that's the case.

It's just that autism seems to be a not that simple phenomenon. It has affected me quite a lot throughout my life so I'd like to understand what it is (besides from a "pervasive developmental disorder").

qawer might be one of those people cursed with extremely good looks but lacking the ability to express himself clearly.

It is physically impossible for me to live anywhere but in reality.

Admittedly, I have not tested the notion of living in a work of fiction.

You should try it! I recommend, however, that you avoid historical fiction, as it tends to lack modern amenities such as the Internet and delicious pizza.

Pizza's older than you think, plus one could import the idea.

However, fair point about the internet.

I have no comprehension of time as you define it.

That is not reality at all.
Thinking you are the center of the universe is not living in reality.

But isn't that your personal reality? Isn't your personal reality the true reality to you?

I'm not biased, I'd like to know how you see it.
