Emotions very rarely cloud my judgement, and sometimes I get accused of being "unfeeling," but when I do have an emotion it's usually very intense. For example, when something makes me sad I usually have to cry and will remain sad for hours or sometimes days (excluding depressive episodes). Do feelings work this way for you, too?

No, I don't have any symptoms of that. To my knowledge, if I did, I would be feeling strong emotions all the time and they would change frequently with little provocation.

Yes, I feel emotions very strongly. Too strongly for me, I find them very difficult to cope with.

I feel emotions strongly too but I can't express them. They don't come to the surface except during an emotional meltdown.

Depends.
At times I feel shallow emotions, at times I feel strong emotions.
Usually the shallow emotions I feel are sadness and surprise.
I very rarely feel really sad. I think I've been actually sad just a few times in all my life.
I hardly ever feel surprised, and it's never a strong feeling.
The strong emotions I feel are usually anger or fear.
Anger mostly. I feel very angry often.
I usually don't feel scared because not many things scare me, but when something does, I can be scared of it for days, even months.
Happiness can be both shallow or strong.
I can be a bit happy for something, but usually it passes quickly and I become angry or neutral again.
But when I'm really happy my happiness can last for days and days.

Sometimes it happens.
At most I never cry, but if it's something that would break my spirit (Like the time my fellow Aspie whom I wished I loved betrayed me too far), I cried a lot. whenever I bring it up, I cry like it was so painful it left an unhealed wound.
sorry I had to bring it up...

I have rather strong emotions but I feel them only occasionally and usually not in front of others. Oddly enough, I seem to get touched more by a sad movie or horrible events shown on the news than situations in everyday life. I see my lack of emotion in everyday life as an advantage though, and I try to avoid situations where it could be a disadvantage.

I do have to add to this that I feel a lot of anger, especially when I'm confronted with NT's. Going to the university in the city, I'm often confronted with noise and crowded streets or halls. The impossibility of escaping this at that moment pisses me off beyond belief.

Possibly you are unconsciously "bottling them up" so when one surfaces, they all bubble to the surface.

This probably happens to me the most. There's always a disconnect from my emotions though, so I'll be thinking to myself "Wow, I guess I am upset."

My emotions are like a well-tamed lion. Most of the time I can keep them under control, but sometimes they lash out and bite me too hard. Then I break down.

I feel my emotions so very strongly that it has turned off every girlfriend (or wife) I've ever had! :(

My emotions have been a lot stronger the past couple years. I think that it mainly has to do with letting myself experience then to the fullest rather than keeping them in. I spent too long listening to people tell me that my emotions were the wrong ones to have and it seemed everything i said or did got twisted into their diagnonsense. Turns out everyone I listened to I shouldn't have had listened to.

It varies, but generally I feel emotions very strongly. It seems to particularly true with sadness, anger and happiness. When I feel any of them it tends to take up every part of me. In addition I only feel one thing at a time, and I don't think I've ever felt real ambivalence.
I've always been this way. There may not always be any outward sign of what I'm feeling though.
