So, not too long ago, I got involved with someone who I'm 99% sure is also on the spectrum (although she's not too keen on the suggestion). This isn't the first time I've dated another aspie but this seems to be a far better match than previous experiences. For the first time in my life I feel like someone else and I actually think the same way.

I've had a lot of different creative ideas in my time but almost all were way too far out there for the few people I was close with to find interesting which led me to think (incorrectly) that no-one out there would. However with someone else there to bounce these ideas off I was inspired to try again.

I think all of us have some incredibly interesting things going on in our heads as a result of a significantly different perspective on the world, the challenge is making it understandable to other people. I don't know if my project will be successful in the financial sense but what I do know is that making a connection with another person made it possible and that is a huge success in and of itself.
