The ones that say something along the lines of "This garment is a one-of-a-kind hand-made item. Any variations in color or texture are characteristic of its unique nature, and should not be considered defects."? It occurred to me this morning that that describes a lot of us, too.

i've never seen a tag like that. the only ones i've seen have the name of the of company that made the item, the country it was made in, what its made of, and how to wash it.

That also reminds me of the members, here. We are all unique, but equal.

I really like that, it's a pretty good description of people like you say.

I remove the those tags.

what would you be trying to refund though, from a person? O.o?

Have seen that notice in catalogs & on pricey items in shops, it stuck in my brain because it's unusual. Extrapolating that description/disclaimer to people, not just things (each person will choose to limit or extend it, as befits their p.o.v.) makes sense as a perspective to strive towards.

have you seen the tag that mentions G. W. Bush? yes, a tag in clothes...

No, but I did see a funny poster once in Japan. "Wanted: George W. Bush. Dead or Alive. Reward: one yen."

I bloody hate those clothing tags. Especially how they scrape against my skin. I imagine it would be worse if you cut them off, because then they'd be sharper.

Oh! I thought this was going to be a post about those new screenprinted tags in clothes so you don't have the scratchy sewn-in tags anymore. And I was going to say Thank God for the companies that have gone to that.

Tags are irritating and itchy and I cut them out immediately.

I adore those tags, i have t-shirt fron Tesco that i would live in if i could.

Normal tags are impossible, even if you remove them there's still an edge, i usually have to wear a camisole under items like that, that's if i actually wear the item.

Nomad have tags that go "This item is handmade...etc" the good thing about them is that they're items are usually 100% cotton, which is really hard to get unless you shop in kids.

the first thing i do after buying a new piece of cloth is to rip the tags of .yes i rip them with my own bare hands
