Who do you NOT get along with?

Wrong Planeteers,

Out idle curiosity, is there a particular type of person you absolutely can not get along with (note: I'm talking about personality traits)?

For me, the people I get along with the LEAST are the ones who have absolutely no sense of humor. I'm not a "serious" person, and I'm pretty laid-back most of the time, so I generally avoid uptight people who act like everything is the end of the world. I also can't stand folks who are extremely judgmental in that they're eternally passing judgement on what other people wear, how they talk, how attractive they are, ect. Sheesh. Mind your own friggen business. Lastly, extremely emotional people stress me out. And by that I mean people who constantly swing from one emotional extreme to the other.

Pretty much everyone barring a few outliers.

I pride myself in being able to "get along" with anyone and everyone if necessary in any particular situation. However, I detest judgmental people who tell me what I feel or think, or believe politically is wrong. I don't think other peoples' opinions are wrong or right, and I don't think it's anyone else's business to judge me for my opinions. If it's fact, that's different; such as if I misread a traffic sign and I start going the wrong way, then I expect to be corrected and I appreciate it. But if I don't think Obamacare is anything but a mess and a terrible idea, I expect to be entitled to my opinion whether it turns out to be accurate or not, and I return the same courtesy to those of opposite views.

Therefore, I would say that although I "can" get along with anyone, I choose not to try to associate with, or to try to get along with judgmental people.

I find that I can get along with most anyone. I have also had a few cases where I have had a hard time getting along with people who have a very dry sense of humor. I tend to take some of the things they say quite literally when they may be completely kidding but I can not tell the difference. It is hard for me to tell the difference on a normal day.

Me too. My boss jokingly pointed out a typo I'd made in an email (because I'm the one who always catches typos) and I didn't realize he was kidding until 2 years later. I thought he really wanted me to fix it.

Love your signature, BTW. My mom had to take me with her to see that movie because she couldn't afford a babysitter. I was eight and it scared the crap out of me. At the point where Igor dropped the jar with the first guy's brain, I jumped up and screamed, "I'm going to wait in the lobby!! !"

I get along with most people but the ones who expect small talk and think I'm stuck up when I don't produce it don't like me.

Know-it-alls (those who don't actually know what they're talking about - wikipedia's definition, not people who do know what they're talking about but like answering all questions)

1. Kings of the Mountain - these are people who sit up on high and look down on me, you know, like judging me.
2. Narcissists - I'm AvPD, so their ultra outgoing, ultra forward, super egoistic ways clash with mine.
3. Psychopaths, or whatever they're called - People who try to manipulate you, lie and twist facts around to suit their cause.

Certain adult people who literally but literally behave like little children all the time to the point it becomes creepy, like you can't have a mature conversation with them no matter how hard you try.

They also seem to be surprisingly sociopathic too I've noticed.

People who always need something to be angry about, no matter how small. I can't take people who froth over cartoons or whatever Justin Bieber did last week seriously.

I've worked very hard to learn to get along with nearly everyone, even those who I don't like.

passive-aggressive people i'd rather not deal with.

I guess I don't get along with most people.
There are very few people I get along with.

The ones I get along with the least are:
overly-spoiled people
people who act like they're the most unlucky person in the world, even if they're not
people who talk on other people's behalf without exactly knowing what those persons think
people who try to convince others that their opinion is the best one and everyone else who thinks differently should change it

also other types of people but these ones are the ones I get along with the least.

people I get along with the least in no particular order:

1. The extremely judgemental people, the ones that spend all their time passing judgement on everything, like peoples clothes etc.
2. People that resort to bullying and intimidation to make people do and think what they want.
3. people that whine all the time about all the problems out there but belittle every attempt made to make things better.

I can go on all day but I will stop here.

I don't get along with people who talk down at me I just take an instant dislike to them.

Pushy people are another type of person I don't get on with I end up avoiding them.

I don't get along with people who are arrogant and judgemental (those who look down on others).
