Today my family decided to all turn on me and sit down and basically lynch me because I made my mom cry on Mother's Day, when it was never my intent to make her cry.

To put it simply, is anyone else ever at odds with their family either issues with communication or lack of ability show proper emotion?

What did you do to make her cry? Was it something you said or maybe didn't say?

I started arguing with my brother and it almost turned into a fist fight. My brother and me have never got along well.

Oh another one, I see. My mother refused to be taken out to dinner when I returned from the store and greeted one of the incessantly barking dogs "Hello, headache". Who else survived Golden Uterus day?

On Tuesday, my mum came home and started asking lots of questions about my day. I was feeling v stressed and overwhelmed already, and asked if I could talk about it later. She started asking more questions and I started to get more stressed and asked her to leave me alone, then she got annoyed and I screamed at her and went for a walk to calm down. When I got back, she wasn't talking to me even when I tried to apologise and it took until the next afternoon for her to talk to me again.

Perhaps it would have been best to simply ignore your brother as much as possible. Next year you could try to focus solely on your mother and don't worry about your brother.

Slept straight through it. I love my irregular sleeping patterns sometimes. :D

my mom got mad at me because, on Saturday, she was kind of fishing for a happy mothers day, which I didnt catch, as it wasn't yet mothers day. I had to go to a study group the next day, and she wanted a thanks for her letting me go, and I didn't catch that either. so, shed didn't cry, but I did, as she spent the car ride to the group basically telling me how I failed as a child.

I'm starting to feel like I'm the only one who had a pleasant Mother's Day...

I hope she didn't call the police? I'm sure mine would, being easily startled and all.
