My interests are economics, biology, psychology, and listening to music all day. Does anybody obsess with music?

Yes. I listen to classical mostly. Occasionally, I do like my metal and hard rock.

Yes, I listen to music a lot to help keep me from melting down, especially if I am really stressed out. I like Faun, Omina, Couvus Corax, ManOWar, Blackmore's Night and Cultus Ferox among others.

I am a somewhat practicing musician. I deal mostly in classical music, with occasional forays into jazz (mostly big band, and mainstream jazz, along the lines of Benny Goodman, The Dorsey's, Glenn Miller, Stan Kenton, Maynard Ferguson (before he went disco), Chick Corea, Stan Getz, Louis "Satchmo" Armstrong, etc.). If the mood strikes me in a certain way, you better believe I start Crying. It usually frustrates everyone around me when that happens.

I love to listen to music. I have music playing from the time I get up, until the moment that I go to bed at night.

I like to listen to music, but have no favorite genre even though I have some preferences.

There are some that I strongly dislike. For example, I don't even think of things like rap as music. And there are some that I don't hate but would never listen to on my own because there are much better out there.

Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, especially piano. Fray, Schiff + Gould, Gilels, and other departed heroes.

I listen to a wide variety of things depending on what I'm doing and how I'm feeling. Rock, Film, Techno, Dubstep, Classical, Jazz, Foreign...pretty much the only one I don't listen to is Country and Western, because it's not played much here in the UK. I play music as well - mostly drums in a funk-rock band, but a little piano as well.

Do you guys listen obsessively to one or a few songs over and over when you discover a new song you like? I do, until I find another song to obsess over!

I can listen to the same song for days and not get tired of it.

I love listening to all kinds of music.

Some of the music I've been listening to recently: George Harrison, The Beatles, Tom Petty, Unitopia, Daft Punk, The Alan Parsons Project, Joan Jett, Fleetwood Mac, and Stevie Nicks.

I listen to music all the time and I can listen to the same song for three or four days without getting tired of it.
