"This is Water” – David Foster Wallace

My daughter is graduating from high school next week. Today, one of her teachers had them listen to David Foster Wallace’s “This is Water” commencement speech. See: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SFt7EzpsZQo.

It was both moving and interesting. For me, it reminds me of how self-centered I am. How much time I spend trapped within my own mind.

I was wondering what other Aspies thought of this speech. I am even more curious what neurotypicals think.

Dang – I wish I had more insight into the neurotypical mind.
