I'm just curious how common this is; it seems there are a number of people here interested in explosives.

In answer to your question, yes, very much so, *drooling uncontrollably*, but I'd never take that interest beyond the theoretical. Is interesting reading about the physics involved and playing with them in video games.

However, with this thread, you're gonna have Tesla throwing a fit now thinking the US government is DEFINITELY spying on WP'ers

No, not really. I prefer taking out my frustrations on video games.

Give me firing cable and masking tape, couple lap junction, u-junctions and bit of emergency junctions... Not really like the colours when a plan comes together or even so you press the strike control Fire button and blows your tank up instead LMAO, but be more on if we went to world war 3 I would know how to use the stuff... If America Doesn’t just nuke everyone ;), like the differnt colours you get from different types of explosives...

Like world war 2 initiative of using air pockets in explosives makes a deeper focused charge on damaging guns in heavy armoured bunkers and doors in them...

I am a chemist... what else would you expect? (However, I must admit that I dislike the loud sounds that happen when explosions go off...)

No, not at all. I do like watching fireworks displays from a safe distance, but that's it as far as explosives.

I thought of that the moment I pressed "submit".

I wonder how the interest divides along gender lines?

lol The Unabomber, now there was an unfortunate character, it's just a shame he wasn't tortured and executed on live TV for his progress-hating ways.

Not really machine as people already restrict the material they give to a self building robot on the chances of it adapting itself to gather its own materials... Man's greatest weakness is assuming ;)
