Apparently you can "read people's minds" if you look at the way their eyes are moving during conversation.
For lefties, the directions are reversed.

Do you do this too?
If not, what do you do with your eyes?

My eyes certainly move.

My left eye sometimes wanders a little bit.

My eyes move.

When I was wondering about the answer for your question my eyes went up left ("visualizing constructing or imagining, visually lying") and I thought "Do I know that? Maybe? I quess?" but I couldn't come with an example till I realized my eyes really moved in the very moment.

I just never paid attention to that before.(eyes up right:"visualizing remembered images")

But I doubt the directions are right. (eyes moved slightly right and middle-bottom:"auditory remembering sounds"/"kinesthetic having internal dialogue")

When I was typing the descriptions remembered from the picture my eyes went middle-right up ("visualization"/"visualizing remembered images").

After all there might be some truth in it. (eyes switched fast from left to right:"auditory remembering sounds" to "auditory constructing sounds 'Does it sound right?'")

But I would never be able to use it in practice and I doubt anybody could precisely say what people think just by looking at the eye movement. - when thinking it my eyes stayed at right-top position("visualizing remembered images"), I had the picture with descriptions visualized in front of my mental eyes and a few video memories of conversations with people passed in front it - I am visual thinker.

They might know what resources you use but they won't know what you think.
(eyes right-middle: "auditory remembering sounds")

As I remember many things in images, theoretically my eyes are supposed to move to right upper side more often than others but I found my eyes don't need to move at all to visualize things.
Images just pop up in my mind without moving eyeballs at all. =)

This sort of thing belongs on TV shows in my opinion. I don't believe they can issue a blanket interpretation for everyone like this and be in any way accurate, especially for autistics as our minds work differently. And not just for us - the whole eye contact issue has been debunked due to the variances within cultural groups. All these things are white western culturally centric.
I move my eyes constantly when speaking, mostly to avoid said eye contact issue while trying not to look as if I am not listening. If I was to stare fixedly at one point and not move my eyes at all this is how it is read, plus people respond by the trying to "catch" my focus which defeats the whole purpose anyway. Left, right, up, down, at the person, at my feet, my focus is everywhere.

My eyes do move plenty while conversing with anyone, I do not make very good eye contact a lot of the time.

Interesting. I hoped other people had this problem as well.
I don't usually move my eyes during conversation and wondered if that might be a reason why my thinking is blocked at those times.
I find that it benefits the talk when I do it, not only because I break eye contact but also because it's a genuine thing: I'm not just looking away for the sake of not weirding the other person out, but it helps concentrating since I don't look at the other person's face. It doesn't even matter where I look. Best is probably to the sides, though.

Time to make it a habit. :D

I've always had trouble with it to be honest
when I'm talking to someone often I stare at them in the face, which make people uncomfortable and is sometimes seen as a sign of aggression, which gets me into trouble.

I used to get yelled at "look at me when I'm talking to you", then "stop glaring at me", it was distressing at the time.

I am fairly certain my eyes (as well as other parts of my body) move while I converse. With that being said I don't really think much about what my body (including my eyes) does when I converse with some else. I mostly focus on a) what I need to say; b) what the other person is saying and c) how I need to respond to what the other person is saying.

Interesting question. I don't think my eyes move much during conversation. I feel like I have this blank look. Next time I'll pay more attention. i certainly don't look people in the eye usually.

After thinking about this topic, I just realized I have the same issues with my eyes that I have with my hands and arms. I simply don’t know what to do with them when I am in the presence of other people.

My favorite time to interact with someone else is when my eyes, arms, hands, etc. are all focused on something else. Examples include: talking to someone at work and taking notes at the same time, conversing with someone else while walking my dog, etc.
