I also have ADHD, and I seem to be bored ATM; who here has long stretches of boredom around the house? I take naps to relieve me of them.

Maybe not the same, but there have been times I've wondered if I was an adrenaline addict. I always was looking out for new and novel situations, and not having a constant feed of that would give me a sense of malaise. Even today, I seem to fluctuate between overwhelmed and bored a lot.

What can be done to head off such boredom? I am in a rut as we speak.

If you find yourself locked into a routine, try finding ways to mix things up or try something new. It doesn't have to be anything huge...Get out and explore the town, or a new town. Try a new cuisine. If all else fails, there's always bungee jumping...

Exercise curbs my boredom pretty quick. In fact, having weight lifting routine that I have to strictly follow every week has given my previously listless life a sense of purpose. Hm, if I do find myself bored, I check sites like Wimp.com for entertaining and/or recently viral videos and Imgur for quick entertainment. Those are both temporary, though. Perhaps learning a new instrument or developing a new hobby would lend itself to a few months of boredom free living.

Boredom has been a huge feature of my life. I read a lot, play silly games, spend hours looking up anything and everything, I work but still get bored.

same here.. am trying to figure out what to do to have fun

i like watching youtube videos and what not..

but seem to have lost interest in almost anything i've ever had interest in.

I am mostly restless.. and Soccer seems to be a good proactive sport for me.. but other than that… at times when sitting alone,

I can't even find interest in organizing letters/documents in my own room.

Part ocd, but a lot of it is lack of motivation and boredom

Growing up, I would get super bored eberry once in awhile, like torturous boredom, and I wouldn't be able to think of anything to do to relieve boredom, and eberrything would seem super boring, but then it would pass, and I would go back to normal.
