I just got an email from Facebook saying that my friend Liron Yahdav has just finished a website for use in planning weekly class schedules. It is intended for students at UC Berkeley, as we're students there, and so it has some features specific to that school. For instance, you can click the name of a building where one of your classes will meet and the building's location is automatically shown on a map.
However, he says that he plans to make the site work for other schools soon. Also, even people who aren't students can use the site to keep track of weekly schedules, since the event names are customizable. That also means you can put classes and other events on the same schedule, so that while most colleges have a web interface for class scheduling, you now have a way to see easily what you have to do before and after class.
The scheduler is available at http://sched.yahdav.com.
The fact that the email popped up right after I had read a web page about tips for autistics to remember schedules made me realize that some people on here may benefit from something like that. If you have any suggestions, you can send Liron feedback using the form provided at the bottom of the page.
