Since Asperger Syndrome has been eliminated from the new DSM, AS and (High Functioning) Autism are essentially the same thing.

My DX says Asperger's Disorder on paper, but I think of myself as Autistic, since that's what it means anyway.

To heck with what the DSM says. I'm an officially-diagnosed Aspie.

Put "AS+ADHD" because when I was diagnosed AS was still in the DSM.
Now I'd be "HFA+ADHD".

HFA and LFA aren't actually diagnoses. They're "further details" and seem to mislead people to some extent.

I was diagnosed under the old DSM so I put AS + ADHD (I also have dyspraxia)

Diagnosed with Mild Aspergers. The doctor wasn't that good about it though, he told my parents that i would eventually learn to become "normal" and pull myself out of the spectrum, hasn't happened and I'm glad :D

Yep. I'm a card-carrying member of the Ass Burgers club.

I keep the card in my wallet, right next to my ass. And my burgers.

Don't judge me.

diagnosed with high functioning autism and am seeking a seperate diagnosis for PTSD.

What confused me was that during consequent therapy sessions my psychologist referred to my condition as 'AS' rather than 'ASD'.

Diagnosed Aspergers Syndrome, apparently a more severe text book example. I am accessed using the Adult Asperger Assessment which borrows criteria from the DSM and ICD-10 standards from what I've looked up on.
