Im never ever bored, cause i always have a special interest im researching/doing.
BUT im extremly impatient.
I cant seem to let the antitipation go... "butterflies in my sthomach" cind of feeling.
like when my boyfriend is at work, and i am at home , ill wait for him eight hours straight...
I cant really relax and let it go. Like i dont have a realistic view of time.
I feel like a "normal" reaction/emotion would be to feel this way, lets say, 30 minutes before he comes home. But noooo, im like this all day.
Is this an Aspie trait ?
Im not trying to overanalyze my feelings, but just wondering. Ive allways been this way. And i HATE that i cant relax

when I was young and full of my youth, I was also greatly impatient, nothing ever happened fast enough for me except for troubles.

I think that's more ADHD. My book on developmental disorders puts that out as an ADHD trait.

well , i do have ADHD (diagnosed). Is it that ADHD and ASD is mutually exclusive? i mean, can i have both ? ore just one of the two.

PS: im under the process of being diagnosed within the ASD spectrum

You can have both. It's just that the trait you mentioned is more ADHD than ASD.

your english is better than that of many americans, IMHO. anyways, part of mental hygiene is realizing that the typical human mind can only hold one discrete thought in working memory at any given time, so if your mind is hosting a bedeviling thought, then it is just a matter of replacing that old bedeviling thought with a new different thought, each time it happens, it is just like picking weeds in the garden, IOW they pop up you pick them, they pop up again, you pick them again.

It's actually an executive functioning trait which can be part of both Asperger's and ADHD.

im also never ever bored, witch maby is more atypical for ADHD- people. I dont think its a criteria for ADHD people to be easely bored, thrill seekers hwom long for stimulation from the outside enviroment. (?)
On this part, im much more AS. I thrive whith calm surroundings, and few ore no people around me. My own little bubble, with my special inrerests :)

Im so curious of what diagnosis i end up with...Maby i just get comfirmation that yes,i do have ADHD. Or maby they take away that diagnosis, and give me AS. Or maby both!

What do you guys think is the difference of ADHD and AS ?
Can you have both?
I feel very much like an Aspie, but i also relate to ADHD ( minus the outgoing, hyperactive part. I have more of an inner stress sometimes)
