when it comes to my mom, my dad, and occasionally others, but usually just them, I usually assume the worst when it comes to their tone, facial expression, and body language. I just assume they're angry with me or being mean to me. I'm often wrong. Does anyone else do this? It gets me and my mom into a lot of arguments.

You're often right then.

Well we have these arguments because she gets mad that I read her wrong and I am so sure I'm right. You see I'm still becoming more aware of my AS and in these situations I forget about it and just assume I'm correct like a normal person.

Yes, this happens to me all the time. I can pick up quickly when my mum's in some kind of bad mood but I always think she's angry or annoyed with me when sometimes she's just annoyed about something that happened at work or sad about something else entirely ect.
