Yesterday evening, my grandpa got these go-karts set up for my sisters and I to ride, and after I rode around a bit, I noticed that my back felt really itchy....I think it was bcuz the way the fabric of my shirt (combined with the hot plastic seat on the go-kart) was rubbing against my skin as I bumped along the track...that happens to me sometimes when it's hot outside and I wear certain articles of clothing. However, my aunt wanted a look at my back, and when I showed her, she said, "Ooooh, you look like you have a rash." Naturally, I couldn't see what my back looked like, but I didn't feel any itchy bumps on my back....it just felt inflamed and itchy. We went inside to show my grandma, and she said it was a heat rash. As fun as go-karting was, I decided to take a break from it after that, and my "heat rash" went away. My skin is very fair and very sensitive-always has been. I'm always the first to get sunburned on a hot day, yet one of my sensory pet peeves is applying sunscreen... I also don't have any allergies, as far as I know....just to certain antibiotics.
Does this happen to anyone else in the heat/with certain kinds of clothes? Is it some kind of sensory thing?
