Does anyone else get super focus and happy and excited and have the BEST day when they have caffeine and after it wears off you're back to your solemn, depressed, moody self?

I had that, as long as I was addicted to caffeine. (Drank 4-5 portions a day.) After reducing that for my therapy, the effect faded, and I became normal, so now bad mood swings without the caffeine. I still had a green tea in the afternoon, but it was only against my afternoon tiredness and didnt influence my mood.

I find I can get distracted by the caffeine because I'm somewhat addicted and have to go and get some tea but if i'm tied up in something i'll put it off for a bit and maybe find i need two cups to get feeling not distracted. I smoke too and the same applies .. if I were to complete detox of both / give it up which i've done before I actually feel great and sleep better etc. Sometimes I need caffeine and nicotine to sleep or it distracts me, but these are both stimulants and I can end up awake longer than I intended

This is true for most users/abusers of caffeine.

I don't use it by and large, but my migraine meds (OTC) chiefly use caffeine to stop the migraine trigger. Take a normal dose can make me "wired" and too much makes me "hyper." Take it too often and I'll get migraines from caffeine withdrawal when I stop using it.
