I have nothing positive with my AS.
If I had the option to get rid of it...I would in a split second.
Mine isn't about being smart or talented, above and beyond.
Those are both well inherited from both sides of my family.
I'm actually the "slow" one. and I have an above average IQ lol.
My AS is all the bad stuff. All of which I've spent a lifetime trying to hide, avoid, ignore and bury.
With no success.
I have alienated, isolated, and irritated to the point of having no friends, and one family member in my life.
I do, however, have an awesome dog

and I know I'm in the minority.
Ironic really, I don't fit in much of anywhere, even among my Aspie peers.
