If someone knocked on your door and invited you to the Right Planet for us aspies, would you pack and leave for good?

Can't we set up a transporter beam? Or regular shuttle?

I am fond of many of the natives of this place, even though I never belonged.

Yes. Not Mars though...an actual life-supporting planet.

This is my sentiment exactly.

Though I would be very interested in visiting the Right Planet, I know that I have a purpose for being on this "wrong" planet; I like to see myself as some sort of intergalactic ambassador who can contribute knowledge and understanding to all planets involved.

Like I told my therapist at my last visit when he asked me, if I could live my life over again, would I change anything? I told him, I don't believe in that concept. What's done is done. He asked, do I have any regrets? I told him yes, I have a few regrets. I'd be a liar if I said I didn't have any regrets.

"knocked on your door" conjures up...negative implications. I'm reading this thread as if there were a (hypothetical) "Right Planet", correct?

Nah. We'd still have to divvy up planets for the sexes, or so I hear... :geek:

Yes. Nothing against my counterparts on the spectrum but literally we are on the wrong planet with the condition that we have.

Mmm, I'm not sure, I'd probably have to go for a visit first to see what this Right planet was like. I'm quite fond of my friends, family and school here on Earth and wouldn't want to just pack up and vanish. If however I saw a significant improvement in life on this Right planet, and it was an easy enough thing to charter a shuttle craft back to earth when I felt like visiting, yeah, I think I would. Oh, and if they had access to Earth TV programs; I have a couple to which I'm quite attached that I wouldn't like giving up.

I answered this question earlier, but I had another thought.

Why does this have to be "Right Planet"? What is stopping people from getting behind an Aspie-friendly building complex, neighborhood, or farming village? It's not like we have to drain swamps, fight mosquitos, or clear hilltops.

What makes everyone so certain that theirs is a Right Planet and not another Wrong like ours? There are always imperfections and nothing that involves a great number of people can be 100%
