That is a beautiful song. I just clicked on the link and listened to it. I can see how you could really relate to that.

Truth is, you can make your life awesome. You have already taken the first steps. You have acknowledged your past so now you can learn to release its grip on you, you have found a great group to help you and you are on your way to making decisions that can really change your stars.

One of my favorite movies is A Knight's Tale because it is so inspiring and a fun family film as well. I think you would enjoy it very much.

But you really can do this. Find something that you love, it does not have to be a big thing, it can be anything, your birds you are thinking of getting or a sport or art or music, anything that moves your heart and really allow yourself to pour into it. Find something that really brings you joy and I think that you will start to see how wonderful you are and that will give you a way to express not only things that might trouble you but all the beautiful things about you as well. I know there are many and that will help make your life start to turn for the better.
