I stop drinking milk about 7 years ago, I now use Silk Soymilk instead. How many other people have lactose intolerance problems?

I drink at least a half-gallon of milk a day, and I haven't had any problems with it.

I'm not one bit lactose intolerant. However, there's something in this country air that makes me itch like crazy!

My brother has milk allergies, but he's definitely not an Aspie. He's always had an easy time making friends.

I don't have milk allergies, although I do have peanut allergies.

I think that alot of people who are lactose intolerant think that they can't eat cheese.

JBM I'm assuming you created the poll? Milk allergies and lactose intolerance are not interchangable words, though some people use them that way. Milk allergy is being allergic to milk protein. Lactose intolerance means one does not have the necessary enzymes in their gut to digest Lactose which is a sugar in most milk products. Big difference there.

I have lactose intolerance, but take generic Lactaid tablets to consume dairy and drink lactose free milk.

I used to have a problem with the lactose in milk. I don't anymore, but I still drink soy milk with my cereal.

I haven't got a clue. I gave up on milk when I was 6 years old. The thought of drinking it is revolting.

I can't drink milk on it's own but I'm ok with it in coffee.
In the olden days when I went to school, all the kids were given a carton of milk every day and I always
came out in a rash.

I have mile allergy not lactose intolerance. I can't stand milk anymore since I stopped drinking when I was 8. However, I do have other food allergies.

I drink a couple glasses a day (with Quik!) and I suspect I'm mildly allergic. But I can't give it up. And I love cheese!
