Having a body is annoying

Having a body is so annoying! We have to feed it, let it sleep and rest, excersise it, wash and groom it, let it eliminate, give it sex, give it care when sick or injured; It's all such an interruption. I just want to do what i want and not be interrupted by this needy thing i live in. My body should pay me for taking care of it. But, I suppose it pays me by keeping me alive. However, some cash would be nice. I do an awful lot to make it happy.

Wow, that's some pretty deep philosophy. I'm still trying to process it all. It remind me of what Cody from Step by Step said once: "wow, it's like my brain has a mind of its own". But anyway, it's definitely something that would be fun to discuss in a philosophy class.

I rememer a Sci-Fi book from long ago, "The Silver Eggheads" ?? Wherein a group of people have their brains ensconced in devices which keep them alive, and able to communicate, but no bodies to bother with. Very close to what you're discussing. They had to get entertained by sight alone...
