I do something like that, but I'm not sure if it's exactly the same as what you're saying.

When I was a teenager, I used to record my voice on a tape, telling stories about my life and the funniest people in my life as the main characters. The stories weren't like ''once upon a time...'' type of stories. They were just of things that were happening in my general life, whether I was worrying about it or not, and it was full of me making a joke of everything and everyone in a comical way (not a nasty way). It hardly had any narrator at all, I just done each characters in a different voice, having conversations and arguments. It was rather funny, and I haven't taped over none of it because I like to listen to it sometimes.

Yup, you sound like a budding writer! Keep it up and you might write something good enough to publish. :)

I wouldn't really say it's an aspie thing but it sounds fun either way. Sounds like you're interested in becoming a writer.

Have you ever put them together or showed them to anyone? Just curious, I don't think it's necessary that you do by any means if you don't want to. Sometimes it's nice to keep little things quiet.

Nope, I've never showed them to anybody. They're actually all gone now, though, because I typed these on a laptop that I had before this one, and I didn't transfer any data to my newer one, since it was just an extra laptop handed down to me from my dad when I was little, and I didn't keep much on it to transfer.

Well, there are and were times that I'd type stories, (which aren't the same as what I am meaning in this post) but I rarely, rarely, rarely ever finish any. This is a prologue to a story that I started writing, but I only wrote 3 chapters, and then I got bored of it: http://sparklingbamboo.deviantart.com/a ... _changes=1

Try writing a play.

Plays are mostly dialogue.

That does sound interesting. Hmmm.... maybe one day I will look into that.

I haven't actually done it before, but it sounds like a great idea, and one I am dying to try. Thank you so much for the idea! :D

Oh, well, that's good then.

I don't know about it being an Aspie thing but I write novels every day.
