Does it irritate you when people terminate their sentences with 'LOL'?

yes, especially when you know deep down they're not really 'laughing out loud'..i swear, can they burn it out any more?

I don't say laugh out loud* (although in my head it always registers as "laugh a lot"). I say "hehe."

Sometime it seems like "LOL" is being used at the wrong time. But no way I'm casting
stones at people as I have laughed at the wrong things in real life so I'm sure it all just
a function of aspergers.

I like it and do it....what I dont like is Internet giggling....hehehehehe.It gives me violent flashbacks of "cutesy" stupid girls acting even dumber to get guys attention....it is very effective and makes me disrespect both genders.

I would like to say....laughing very quitely on the inside...."lvqoti"....but I dont think it will catch on.I use LOL because I am the only one who thinks I am funny and need to let people know when I have made a "joke"....I wish I had a flash card that said "LOL" that I could use in real life,since know one seems to know when I am kidding.

I like it, but I usually use it as a response to something funny said on the net, rather than after a sentence.

Its your asperger social cogntive distortion that makes you feel that way. No way I'm laughing at you. Its okay if you do not believe me as my own social cogntive problems insure I can not convey my true feelings for you in a way that you could believe even if you were a NT.
