My stomach is always demanding food and I just can't be bothered with it. It annoys me having to put stuff in my mouth and chew and taste and swallow. Not all the time, but often. it's just been happening. I've just eaten a piece of (gluten free) toast and frankly I resented having to have it in my mouth! Anyone the same?

I love to eat. Sometimes for the taste of good food and other times it's literally a stim.

Best...stim...ever.

I live to eat.

I don't eat to live. I live to eat.

Life without food would be a very sorry sight indeed.

Quite, I enjoy eating rather too much.

I'm quite the opposite, unfortunately.

I prefer easy food and someone else definitely has to bring it to me. Left to myself, I won't eat unless I'm starving and then I'm traumatized trying to figure out what I "want." I've always found it to be an annoying interruption.

Where can I learn to be like that?

yeah, verily.

It's something else that puzzles me about smokers; dosen't it annoy you to keep having to smoke? why keep doing it? I'd probably find it easier to quit than keep having doing it.
Also, the physical pain from not eating sucks, not to mention the mental diminishment that occurs after not eating for about 4-6 hours. three meals a day are enough for me.

I like eating because it's habitual. I like eating the same foods in the same order. It's a calming ritual for me. I also like eating foods that take a long time, like oranges and hard-boiled eggs. Peeling them calms me.

I don't live to eat, I eat to live.
I can enjoy the odd meal now and again, but most of the time I'm just forcing myself to eat so that I don't die. :(

When I was younger I wouldn't eat until my hands started shaking.

I love my food. Therefore eating is certainly not a chore to me - unless it's crap food, but that's a different kettle of fish.

Eating can be kind of an annoying interruption, especially if you don't know what you want. Meal replacement shakes are good at times like that.

I enjoy good food when it is easy to get (i.e. ordering pizza or going out to eat in general). Unfortunately I don't have that kind of money. If I want to eat this week, I need to go to the grocery store this afternoon. I really don't want to. Nor do I really feel like cooking right now. But I can feel hunger starting to gnaw at me.

I see eating as an activity for me. But when I'm doing something else I enjoy, I forget to eat.
