...than NTs?

Or is it the opposite?

Personally I was never really harassed by or gotten into conflict with randoms on the street, despite of using to fear getting attacked all the time and targeted by people around me, but I'm guessing that's just ASDs way to cope with past bullying I guess.

The places I go to are actually deemed to be really dangerous according to the media and people I know, but for some reason I'm not really noticing it at all.

Maybe I don't attract the bad types? Maybe I just don't come across them for some reason?

I dunno...

I've been a victim of street violence, but the perps didn't know about my autism. Hell. I didn't know about my autism. I guess it's just a random occurrence. I have been in "unsavory" neighbourhoods, though, but that was during my drug seeking days.

I was mugged once.
Of course, I lived in a terrible neighborhood in SF at the time, it was 3am, and I had inadvertantly flashed a wad of 20s (I'd take some money out for presents as the holidays were near) at the Subway across the street.
I gave the guy the money, got away and into my apartment building which had a locked front door.
I was shaken up, but ok.
In retrospect I probably could have easily overpowered him, he was obviously in bad shape, but it probably wasn't worth the risk.

Someone tried to pick my pocket on a crowded bus in Rome once, but I'm hypersensitive and noticed his hand in my pocket, so I grabed it, took it out and gave the guy a look. He managed to look relatively embarassed.

Since those are the the only times anything like that ever happened to me, and I've been to cities all over the world, I'd have to say that it seems like it's not about AS vs NT, it's about location and opportunity in most cases.
