Ha, ok, so that subject was a bit click baity.. buuuut, maybe?

I read this article yesterday and found it fascinating:

http://ottawacitizen.com/news/local-new ... ky-it-does

There are a couple of things I've done on "gut feeling" that have worked out well for me. Also, several times where I had this "feeling" but didn't take action on it (especially when it comes to investing) and then low & behold what I felt was going to happen then actually did happen.

We know from recent research that Autism has direct gut-brain correlations and that the intestines and enteric nervous system play an integral role. I'm just thinking out loud here.. but what if some of us are wired to have a bit of "extra sensory" interoception sensory processing? It would explain, beyond logic/computational savant abilities, why some of us (not talking about myself necessarily) happen to be quite a bit better than average at trading on the world's financial markets.

I think it's a nice thought, anyways. :)

Your thoughts?

I actually suck at intuition and "gut feeling"--to a degree which is comedic.
