As Aspies would you consider a cold shower for benefits or spirtuality?
I think that as an Aspie I would only ever take showers that consisted of warm sunshine and colourful rainbows.
As my own person, I will usually use the cold shower after/before entering the sauna at the swimming baths.
I've also taken a shower under a couple of waterfalls while camping up in the highlands.
Every time I have a shower, it's always about the hygiene benefits.
There is, however, that occasional spiritual moment where I'll break out into the odd Catholic Hymn from time to time. Though I'll often go Sister Act all up on it, and possibly break into a dance number or two. I tend to draw some looks from the other patrons at the baths, but every now and then someone will chime in, usually the older patrons, or some of the leisure staff.
There's a 50/50 chance I'll casually start singing "The Bare Necessities of Life" while doing the back stroke out in the swimming pool.
