http://www.autismspeaks.org/news/news-i ... washington So far I haven't been able to ascertain how many people with "autism" will actually be "speak"ing, but I have low hopes that the number will be high. Though I have been able to discover from Ari Ne'eman, that no one from ASAN will be speaking, and it sounds like he wasn't invited (considering his high standing in the disability community in Washington, this sounds like a serious slight). How great for us .

I write for ASAN and support their policies, but am not surprised autism speaks did not invite ASAN to this summit, because ASAN publicly disapproves of autism speaks.

Yea, I know, but it seems like they aren't having a voice representing autistics anywhere in this conference... so you would think they might be smart enough to invite someone to pacify us.
