Mobile text and talk application

I just downloaded and tested an app that's free today from Amazon called "Type and Talk." It's a simple text to speech application for your phone.

Recently I've experienced becoming overwhelmed enough (twice now) to become non-verbal and have been looking for ways I can communicate in these situations. My preliminary testing show's promise. Along with creating a medical directive card I hope to use this, if I'm able, to communicate if I become non-verbal.

The list price for this application is 99 cents. I imagine there are others on the market but this is the first one I've seen being that it was the Amazon "Free app of the day."
