for me, i find if i had a little help, autism wont be a problem for me,

some problems are:

-friends are out of the question, my peers are too complex and mean to make new friends
-im easiliy overwhelmed so i dont really wash my own clothes, brush my hair, clip my nails, or brush my teeth regularly. i would do these things if i had to, but i would meltdown a lot more than i do
- i cant read very well. half because my light sensitivity and the other because it makes no sense to me
- i have trouble getting a part time job at the moment because, again, i get overwhelmed with responsibility and because the only place i wanna work is a pet store, and its very bright and loud there and im not sure i can handle it for like 4 to 6 hours.
- i cant go to school with my peers
- i dont eat much because of my restricted diet i only eat food that tastes good.

luckily, im well adapted. so here are my advantages

-im overly formal, so i think it will sound normal if i worked somewhere
- i have a friend, so i have some support
- i have a great focus and intrest in art, so i think a career is promising
- my routine is pretty flexible, so thats pretty good

hm..... i seem to have more disadvantages.......... :/ this was unexpected.....

Advantages--able to learn is a big one
Disadvantages--although it's possible to learn and do almost any task at least in isolation, putting them together and being responsible to do them continuously leads to depression and anxiety

Advantages:
Good at learning
Being able to see both details and the big picture
Knows the value of solitude
Focused on what I'm interested in

Disadvantages:
Trouble making friends, as I can't relate to many people
Tunes out anything I'm not interested in (and chances are those kinds of things don't make sense to me)
Thinking that is so associative that I'm often in my head
Hard time dealing with noise and light, especially if I'm tired

Advantages:
I am a fast learner
I have several interests and some hobbies that I am good at
I am able to stay focused on whatever I am doing most of the time

Disadvantages:
I lack some social skills
I am an introvert
I tend to feel stressed more easily, but that feeling never lasts too long

What makes you think introversion is a disadvantage?

I don't have much friends, just a couple. I always try to spend time with them, but when I do, I get nervous, which is why I spend most days myself. I sometimes regret not spending enough time with my friends.

That sounds more like social anxiety than introversion.

Advantages
- Logical thinking
- Able to analyze situations without feeling socially pressured to say yes if I conclude that they are not in my best interest
- Not bothered by social consequences when choosing to drop unpleasant people or events
- Philosophical outlook on life, not emotional
- Immune to fashion and trends
- Principled
- Kind

Disadvantages
- A lifetime of failure trying to build a social circle
- Do not feel in control of my life, because of my inability to navigate its many social aspects
- May desire a romantic relationship but have proven incapable of creating and sustaining it
- Extremely vulnerable to the fake faces that other people put on; not able to see through them (take them at face value)
- Always the odd guy out - can't network and therefore am not as successful career-wise as I'd like to be
- Physical overstimulation - need to avoid certain environments (parties, concerts) completely or I will be sick
- Feeling completely helpless when it is clear that someone needs comforting or understanding - feeling so sad that I don't know how to do what it appears I should do
- A lifetime of confusion

Pros:
I enjoy what I enjoy a lot more than other people seem to.
I have a unique perspective on things that I am occasionally told is appreciated.
I don't get terribly lonely, nor do I crave attention/constant social interaction.
Certain things come more naturally to me, to the point where I'm baffled that others can't figure it out.

Cons:
I find it difficult to have conversations, because I am not interested in what most people are saying, and only want to talk about my interests.
I have a unique perspective on things that I am occasionally told is not appreciated.
It takes a lot of effort to make friends, and we eventually tend to drift apart.
Very basic things that most people find easy, I struggle with immensely.

It is a condition of double edged swords.
