Hi just wondering do you feel as though your anxiety is different from your anxiety because you have aspergers? Like I don't know hat makes me nervous it's just always thee I'm not aware of any thoughts tht go through my head any one else like this?

Well i am just always nervous but before it happens i dont think about something that makes me anxious for example im worried about.... it just comes but i'm not thinking of anything to make it happen. Im not sure how to explain it

Yes. Generalized Anxiety Disorder is common for those of us with Asperger's. We are often in a constant hypervigilant state, maybe because we've had so much experience with people getting angry at us "out of the blue," because we made a social error of which we were unaware. And we also suffer from black-and-white thinking, where all is fine or all is lost. It's like we have circular ruts in out heads which trace over paths of worry again and again. It can make daily living overwhelming.

I think you've put it very well, JSBACHlover. That sounds like me and probably the majority of us on this forum.
