Due to reading up on these ears after seeing these at an anime convention last weekend, I wonder what an autistic majority state/society would look like - as in I think they would socially 'require' these sorts of aids to be worn by most people, in order to make reading everyone easier to do. I could see autistic diplomats wearing this sort of stuff for diplomatic purposes.

In general, I think an autistic country would be more honest, more above board, with higher quality control, but less total stuff would get done.

Okay, in playing poker I'm able to read people pretty well, the obvious actions like pre-flop raise, call of a pre-flop raise, etc. (although not necessarily for money because, even when you're playing well, upswings and downswings are statistically highly likely. Fair warning.)

I'm also able to interact well on the Internet, and a number of jobs such as interviewing tax clients at H&R Block where the interaction is somewhat structured.

Where I do less well is trying overly hard to pick up the small signs and then second-guess myself, that's almost a recipe for failure.

Plus, I add some social skills like if a person needs space, go ahead and give them space, without the intermediate step of asking whether they 'should' need space.
