last minute decision to take part in my local village 10k fun run yesterday morning. First time I have done the event for 23 years!

Aimed for a sub 1 hour and came home in 57 minutes. My mum, brother, wife and daughter were all waiting at the finish line to cheer me home too which was a nice surprise

^Wow, if I ran a 10K, I would def throw up afterwards  It sounds like your running is really well received by your family, which is awesome.

Okay,
1. Again, a healthy supper for the family is currently stewing in the crock pot.
2. I cleaned out a small closet over the weekend ... drum roll please ... now the door shuts!
3. I spent a set amount of individual time with each of my children yesterday, just bonding and goofing around. They just had fun with it and didn't realize it was a "set up."

1. I contacted a company that does book tours but I nixed them because I couldn't afford it.
2. I received two basil plants from the food pantry so now I have a new responsibility.
3. When I went to pick up my meds from the pharmacy I checked my B/P. It wasn't as high as it normally is, so that's good.

And I'm proud of someone else who ran a marathon.

It's only Monday too :D

Your hair looks better than the picture on the magazine.

1. Did something nice for someone on the sly
4. Improved my mathmatical skills

Started my Samaritans training yesterday (twice a week for the next 10 weeks)

Seems I was the only person selected by the trainers from my selection day to actually be told they were suitable to go ahead and train to be a Samaritan.

Final part of Samaritans training coming up on Saturday before I move onto the next stage

Just been one of the most amazing experiences of my life. All feedback I have had so far has been that I have been star of the class!

I got out of a particularly nasty depression.

I'm going out to see bands again. What I mean by that is bands I finally want to see are playing close to me again. I've been driven crazy by the few weeks I've had off.

I wrote about 13 pages last night and today for a mental health awareness blog I'm working on. Meaning I can actually focus and for longer than just an hour.

Can I have a fourth thing? I'm not obsessing so much over a crush.

1. Survived a move to a new office building without looking nearly as disoriented as I was
2. Successfully made contact with a lot more new people at work than usual
3. Started allowing myself to ask spontaneous questions
