What are ways to socialize without places like school/work?

I'm mainly asking this since I basically got banned being on school property thanks to strattera making me violently aggressive and Adam Lanza shooting up a school.

I basically have no social life outside of school and I only have one real long term friend and it's mainly because we both have Aspergers so understand each other better, I'm starting to feel incredibly depressed. :(

I have tried the gym, and visiting the coast, and seeing a therapist and thus far...nothing.

I am nearly 40 though.

they want me to finish the rest of my senior year online since parents are threatening to take their kids out because of what I did hyped up on strattera and Sandy Hook causing overreactions

Can your friend bring a couple of friends over to your place? Maybe to play video games or something? Then get one of them to bring somebody over one day, etc. Build on that idea until you have folks to call to come hang out.

I've met folks in the library and just walking in my neighborhood. I've heard grocery stores are not bad places to meet people. oh, and coffee shops.
