Realized I have a few words:

version of "yes" from a good friend. I always say this instead of usual yes.

"KITTY!" said by Boo (Monsters Inc.) -often said to my cat.

Delayed sentences from what I have said recently...
example: did you know I love my cat? (not asking)
I LOVE my cat!

I have a few phrases as well.

By far my favourite is "Goodness me, it's SPC". I will repeat it randomly to myself while reading the newspaper, or just generally when I'm in a good mood and feel like verbally expressing that. It's just so bouncy and I love the way it feels in my mouth. :)

Oh boy do I ever! I will at random recite things I've heard from TV, movies, online videos, the radio, people I know...you name it. I especially like reciting this:

I'll also randomly say the word "nyan"--the Japanese word for "meow" to myself, just because it's fun to say. And instead of saying "goodbye," I might quote the peasants from Warcraft III: "All right; off I go then."

Been scripting favorite parts of movies since I was little. I would say most sentences to my mother and myself in about 3 similar ways only.

Shortly before I realized I might be on the spectrum (around March of 2012), I realized just how often I integrate others' catch-prases and lines from movies into my daily conversation. I didn't realize that maybe there was something unusual about this behavior until then--and I was 28 at the time.

Yes, I do this with movies all the time. I was thinking about it just last night as I rattled off the same scene from a TV show I had been watching to myself over and over again. I'll often catch myself thinking of something and muttering lines from TV or films without thinking about it. I do it more deliberately around my family too; if they bring up something that relates to a phrase I've heard, I'll repeat it without any context; the only way they can tell it's not my own words is that usually the line has a character name incorporated in it. While I was in my Peanuts phase when I was younger, I'd just go around spouting lines from the comic strips at seemingly random intervals.

I do a lot of reciting and quoting things that I've read or have seen on TV or in movies.

The kids have watched I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown about a million times the past few weeks, and I've been randomly quoting Rerun.

"Over hill, over dale...Poor Dale."

I get this one a lot. Can anyone guess where it comes from? :D

"Viceroy, I don't want this stunted slime in my sight again! This turn of events is unfortunate. We must accelerate our plans. Begin landing your troops."

"My lord, is that legal?"

"I will make it legal!"

"And the Jedi?"

"The Chancellor should never have brought them into this. Kill them immediately!"

"Yes, yes, my lord, as you wish."

Love that movie. "He's wearing my blanket!" "Hospital robe."
