For most of my life I never knew I was different.

My first job interview, she asked me who I was and how I would describe myself?
I didn't know what to say, I was speechless. "I'm me."
To be fair I'd not had any knowledge about interview questions or employee expectations. I was just told to have a cv and go to the interview.
In my cv it had my personal traits. And I pointed those out to her.
It was only very late in life that I began to notice more social feedback. Then go over other perplexing social interractions from my past.
Then I began to research annoying people and some of my conversation traits were listed.
I was called weird by people in school and my retort was 'yes I am, but so are you only you pretend not to be.'
What I didn't realise that everyone was pretending to be someone they were not all the time.
