i have been unemployed for about 2 years after working in a very stressful public environment for a year

i was ( still get ) scared to even go outside after i quit but i really need money now

my ticks ( staring , weird eye contact , awkward movements and more ) make me the laughing stock everywhere i go , i get very upset but rarely violent at people for this and obsess about it so i usually just stay inside

i was diagnosed with aspergers but others say i dont have a/s because i have a girlfriend ( 10 years 100% the only one who can put up with me ) and can play normal pretty good ( learned normalty ) so they just make up a new diagnosis every time i see a new counselor/doctor ( musical diagnosis ) like intermittent explosive disorder or some non specific schizoid thing and they all say i shouldn't go on disability and to take these new meds ( kickbacks for guinea pigs ) i have had 6 traumatic brain injury's but can still speak and write and do most things well ( low 100's ) i.q.

i have poor social skills and little to no training but due to reasons she cannot support us anymore

WTF am i to do here ?

should i try for disability again or get a temp job and quit/get fired and go f'nuts again possibly ?

Low 100s for an IQ is actually pretty good. 100 is the baseline of 50% of the population. 137 is around 1% 1. something percent. 115 is about 17% of the total population and I was reading that the average doctor IQ is 110. IQ has nothing to do with education btw. So don't go but doctors are so smart because they are very well learned but everyone has a different IQ range so the average is around 110%.

Anyways, sorry I felt the need to ramble because I've been researching IQ scores lately (online IQ tests are not a way to even get an accurate IQ score if there really is one.

Sorry, trying to stay focused here. Ok, you want to go on disability? Your profile says Aspergers diagnosed and you mentioned that you can't get keep a job. What you need to do is collect all of your documentation by all of the psychologists / psychiatrists you have visited, look up where your local Social Security office is, call them to make sure they can handle SS disability (in my state you need to go to the capital one for that), and eventually you will have to go down there with all of your information. Try to get there as soon as they open. Sometimes, if you do that and it isn't busy they can schedule you for a review that very day where someone talks to you about your case. Here is the thing that I am not 100% certain about because I have only read this part when researching information on this subject. From what I was reading it was saying you have to have a current diagnosis of something like 3 to 6 months (can't remember what) and if you don't then you just have to get re evaluated and provide that paperwork. Keep in mind I am not 100% sure about that so if anyone can correct or confirm this to help this person out I would appreciate it. Also, if you get anxious just remember to call and get information ahead of time and explain to them that you are nervous. I have found telling people I am nervous when I actually am helps a great deal. Who would have thought right? I'm learning all these amazing coping skills. Anyways, best of luck. If you need more information just PM me. I have been talking to a vet who is going through this process right now and they have been giving me a large amount of information and paperwork because I like learning about this information for some reason.

can't hurt to try for disability, though it's easier if your docs support you.

Well you could try disability, few downsides like making it impossible more or less to ever get a job, once you get out of that loop, another is peoples view, here say you will never get friends or girlfriend or anything if you are on disability pension. Because then they view you as a loser.

Good things is less random stress, forced social interaction, able to do and live life at ones own pace.

Maybe just me, but I take more pride in being able to live by myself, making my own food abd cleaning. Than having a job and living in one of those places where they put people like us where you live with other people and adult helpers.

But it's not an easy choice. I dudn have energy fir both. When I worked for many years . I would work go home and sleep and work. Had to rely on my mom for food. Cleaning, living at home.
