I was listening to Josh Groban on my iPod on the way to choir practice, and I experienced something amazing. I visualized an entire scene in my head while listening to "You're Still You." It was the prom scene when he was in Ally McBeal. It was the most amazing thing I have ever experienced. It was beautiful. Having an Asperger's memory is beautiful to me. :)

Okay that was pretty cool. I have a question though. Did it happen in bits and pieces or was it an entire flashback?
Me? I wouldn't mind having an interactive dream about Jerusalem.

It was an entire flashback. It was so surreal. :)

Being new to all this, I had no idea that there was a certain type of 'Aspie memory'. Occasionally, I can see somewhere on TV and immediately know which town/city it is - just from a few anonymous looking buildings or a handful of trees. But don't bother asking me to get a round of drinks, as I can only keep 2 things in short-term memory - and that's a struggle!
