This thread is for animal lovers. I don't know if it is AS but I just love animals. I see a dog or a cow and my heart melts. I wish I could hug them all day. They are like sweet little babies. When I am with animals I give them more attention and affection than anyone else. The repulsion I feel sometimes from humans is never there with animals. They are like wonderful kind innocent people.
And of course I love hyenas LOL who wouldn't?

How about you? Do you like animals?

That video did cheer me up. :')

And yeah, I definitely love animals. In fact I can't think of a single species that I detest -- even loving creatures most people dislike such as insects, spiders and mollusks. All animal phyla is is marvelously complex, a figure of beauty and truly something to behold in this world. I love working with them when I do volunteering, I love having them as pets and companions and I love learning about them. I can't get enough of them.

Most of my favourites are ungulates like deer, goats, sheep, antelope, horses and tylopods. Although I'm also especially partial to animals like canines, birds, cetaceans, primates and amphibians.

I think a lot of us on the spectrum tend to prefer the company of animals over people.
In the special school i went to they had lots of animals there as part of autism therapy.

The only living thing on this Earth that I ever truly connected with was one of our dogs. We had several over the years (a couple cats too), but this one...we were just LINKED. I can't explain it.

That dog is gone now and I can't have another. I've moved, no pets allowed, no family support with caring for an animal's food bill let alone their medical bills...

No more pets.

I miss it very, very much.

That one was special, but even with all the others, I've connected with animals (mammals, really) far better than with humans.

Some people have picked up on it and jokingly called me "Dr. Doolittle".

That's okay.

What would these results mean? Been told here I must be a "half pint".

Yay, a hyena fan!
Love em too.... and the rest of the animal kingdom. Oftentimes, to a fault - if said "obsession" can be classified as such.

I love all animals, even snakes. My favorite animal is a unicorn (no one said your favorite animal has to be real) with cats a close second. As far as livestock goes I have a soft spot for goats. Like I said I love all animals but goats are the only large animal I'd consider owning if I lived in the country. Goats, chickens, cats, dogs, maybe a bee hive too. That would be awesome!

I'm an Animal lover too Cats are my favourites but I love all animals I think it started when I was little, we had Guinea pigs when I was younger and budgies.

I took an interest in African Wildlife after watching Born Free and I watch documentaries on Animals its good to see the ones we don't know much about too.

Hyenas are an important part of the eco system they clean up after other predators they will also try to snatch the prey if they get a chance.
