Its a movie, not specifically about autism, but has a character who is autistic, played by Sigourney Weaver! I've got to see it.

I hear it is quite acurate. And that it has a pretty good story. I want to see it really badly. Does anyone know when it comes out on DVD?

... And, I found out, only available to buy in the UK.

I imagine you should be able to find a copy on ebay. I remember there being an interview and article about this, where they spoke to the autistic woman Sigourney Weaver based her character on. They became good friends apparently and spent quite a bit of time together. Had fun on a trampoline in the woman's garden too :D

I saw it last week its not bad. I do think Sigourney Weaver was miscast though, at times her portrayal is accurate but this is overshadowed by moments of extreme overacting. Its quite a slow film but atmospheric.
