Hello I had a previous account that was lost for God knows what reason and had a question that has been bothering me for awhile. I am underemployed and currently in a situation where I'm directionless in setting up contacts, not sure who to get in touch with but most importantly am having some difficulty with finding a skillset that is right for me.

This thread is to sort of share your experiences and what you did to overcome as well as ask if their is anyone who feels the same way?

Sorry for bumping this thread I was just hoping for advice. The thread is about how can I get into a generally employed situation without having to worry about entry level forever.

I joined this forum when I was between jobs and at a low point.

I got working through an employment agency doing a warehouse job.

The job judged me on my work and gave me a couple of temporary contracts and this week I was made permanent.

What got me to this point was turning up for work on time everyday and working hard while others talked.

I declared my Autism but they just wanted a good worker.

So my advice world be try and get a chance to show what you can do before you face and interview.

By the way I did go through the formality of an interview and made a total mess of it but it did not matter since I had proved myself already thought my actions.

It started off slow for me sometimes only getting two days a week but that is how I had to do it.

I wish you good luck if I can do it anybody can I am a social disaster.
